| Heather Todd is
a rocker chick that will sing your face off! To some, that could be a benefit.
Heather has powerful vocals, an incredible range, and songs that tackle
not only the joys, but also the struggles of a Christian walk.
Heather’s hit song,
“Over My Head” co-written with Lara Landon in under 30 minutes, came from
worry. Heather talks about the thought process that went into this song.
“The worry thing is not new to me. I'm a TERRIBLE worrier. About
things I can control, things I can't, mistakes I've made, mistakes I MIGHT
make....it's insane. I know it's wrong to worry, and it's something
that I struggle with all the time. The ‘over my head’ thing is kind of
a double-meaning - a reference to how we always kind of refer to God as
being above us, and how we can get into situations that only He can fix
and bring order out of chaos.”
Jeff McLaughlin,
Heather’s manager, says, “Heather is a small-town girl from Arkansas, but
watch for big hits to come from her. To her surprise, she is already getting
some great traction in the Christian radio world. I knew she would all
along. I don't worry like she does.” |
